Camryn Nease

Camryn Nease is a freshman and first year member of the Kent Dance Ensemble. Camryn has performed numerous lead roles in dance theater productions including Mouse Queen and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, The Genie in Aladdin, and Elphaba in Wicked. She has taken master classes in the styles of ballet, hip hop, musical theater, jazz, modern, flamenco and aerial work at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Visceral Dance Center in Chicago, The Ohio State University, Disney World and her home studio. In 2017, Camryn attended the Commercial Dance Intensive at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and trained with Broadway choreographer Adam Cates, as well as numerous professional dancers currently working in film, music videos and arena tours. She aspires to dance professionally and bring joy to others through performance, while also bridging the gap between different cultures, genders, sexualities and beliefs to create a more kind and safe world.
