Free Fridays

The Department of Recreational Services at Kent State University is excited to announce Free Fridays at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC) for faculty and staff this spring semester. The promotion is open to all part-time and full-time faculty and staff of Kent State University.

Faculty and staff need to present their FLASHcard to gain admittance to the SRWC. Free access to Group X classes is also included in Free Fridays, although space may be limited. All faculty and staff are invited to take advantage of free Group X classes, including those with an existing membership.

Multilevel vinyasa  yoga

  • Time: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.

Total body conditioning 

  • Time: 8 - 9 a.m.

Power pilates 

  • Time: 9 - 10 a.m.

BOOM Muscle

  • Time: 11:30 a.m. - Noon

The Student Recreation and Wellness Center is open from 5:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Fridays during the Spring semester. Faculty and staff are encouraged to take advantage of the early morning hours or visit the SRWC during their lunch break.
