Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences, the intellectual heart of Kent State University! The undergraduate and graduate programs in the College encompass humanities, social sciences, natural and mathematical sciences. These programs are offered through 16 academic departments and several centers and institutes. We offer associate’s, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in a wide range of fields. Students can enhance their academic experience in a number of ways by digging deeply into research, field experiences, studying abroad, or participating in a learning community, just to name a few.
